Course Description
Quessing's Creating Web Graphics teaches students how to create, edit, animate, and otherwise manipulate graphics and image files for use on Internet Web pages. Jasc's Paint Shop Pro 8 is introduced to teach students how to create and manipulate images.
This one-day course focuses on the creation of practical images and graphics that do not impose a bandwidth burden on Web users. Important advanced topics are covered, such as compression, animated GIFs, transparent GIFs, coloring text, text effects, different graphics file formats, and using background patterns and colors.

Intended Audience
This is a Web publisher-centric course intended for students with basic HTML knowledge and experience. This course provides students with a thorough knowledge of Web graphics use and manipulation.
Those who need to create, convert, manipulate, or otherwise understand Web graphics and images (photos) should take this course.
